The Daily Path of Creation:
A Morning at the Karin Sprague Studios

As I look towards the last part of winter which lies ahead, I find a new joy in the ritual of my day. Each part, walking out to the studio, lighting the incense and the wood stove, and then feeding the birds, prepares me for my time at the drawing table or for taking that difficult call from a family who has lost someone dear. Like the emergence of spring, the carving of a stone, or the journey of healing grief, change becomes visible only slowly and day by day.

With Gratitude,
Karin Sprague
