The Work
Casdin Monuments
Two monuments for a husband and wife designed 18 years apart. Sharon came to the studio in 2005 to design this elegant monument for Jefferey. Upon Sharon's passing, her children once again called upon Karin to design a stone that would complement Jeffery’s while being unique to their mother.
The two stones beautifully demonstrate how the English black slate ages with time and exposure to the elements.
Material: English Black Slate
Cemetery Location: Barnard Cemetery, Sheffield, MA
Carvers: Javier Alfonzo (Lettering), Christine Dunn (Sculpture)
